She began her fitness journey in 2015 with Track Shack’s training programs after her first baby and discovered a passion for running. Abby has maintained a 90+ pound weight loss with her dedication to running. Amy Sindler
Team Track Shack
After returning to Orlando in 2004, Amy ran with MarathonFest for a couple years and then transitioned to 5 & Dime with Coach Dave, where she has remained for the past 20+ years and where she met her husband Victor! She has run 9 marathons, including 2008's Boston Marathon, one 50K and numerous half marathons, 10ks, 5ks and various distances. In addition to running, Amy coaches the Cheetah's Jr Running Club, which brings her immense joy, as she loves guiding young runners. Her favorite Track Shack events are the Run for the Trees and the Lady Track Shack 5K. She treasures her involvement with Team Track Shack, including her memorable experience as a concierge volunteer at the Olympic Marathon Trials, and is grateful for the opportunity to support others in their running journeys.
Andrew Kim
Team Track Shack
Andrew started running in 2013 and has no plans on stopping! He started his racing journey in 2016 and has been on Team Track Shack since 2019. His first ever 5K was Track Shack's Winter Park 5K and is known as his favorite race to this day. Since then, he has run countless 5k races, 10k events and half marathons. Andrew attributes much of his success and personal growth to the sport, to the Orlando running community, and to his Track Shack family.
Charlene LePane
Team Track Shack
Over the years, running has become an integral part of Charlene's life, providing her with joy, time for reflection, and a sense of community. Charlene has been a member of Team Track Shack and has also served as an Ambassador, finding fulfillment in supporting others and representing Track Shack. Her first pair of running shoes and track spikes were purchased at Track Shack, and she has continued to rely on them for gear, training, and camaraderie ever since.
Cheryl Lacey
Team Track Shack
Cheryl started running in her 20's to stay healthy, and she quickly found the Track Shack community through local run clubs and races. She's participated in Marathonfest and 5 & Dime training programs since 2008, and she has run more than 50 marathons (favorites are Boston, Chicago, Space Coast, and Celebration). She enjoys pacing Track Shack's OUC Orlando Half Marathon every year because she loves helping others achieve their running goals. When she isn't running, she enjoys spending time with her Frenchies and watching baseball.

Chris started his running journey 23 years ago and learned about Track Shack through a local run club. Chris loves spending time at Track Shack races and talking to the people of Central Florida about running. His favorite race is the OUC Orlando Half Marathon!
Dave Thorne

11 full marathons, 52 half marathons, countless 10ks, 5ks, trail races, relays and duathlons later- He's not stopping any time soon! Dave is a long-time runner with Track Shack and is stoked to be back on the Team. Dave is all about sharing the stoke and does so in every endeavor. His favorite Track Shack event is the Winter Park Road Race.
Eric Strauss
Team Track Shack
Eric has been running recreationally since 2009, but it wasn’t until his wife started doing races that he got bit by the competitive running bug. In 2020, he decided to up his game and joined the Five and Dime training program through Track Shack. As an Ambassador for three seasons, Eric fell in love with encouraging runners of all levels and found his tribe at the Track Shack community. This is Eric's second season on Team Track Shack!
Kelly Himel
Team Track Shack
Kelly Himel has been running for 18 years, completing 18 marathons, 9 Dopey Challenges, and over 60 half-marathons. She ran through her entire first pregnancy, completed the Boston Marathon and even managed to win her age group in the Track Shack Running Series. Balancing running with a full-time job and life as a mom, Kelly aims to improve her 5K time in the upcoming series. Joining local running groups after moving to Orlando 9 years ago, she found a second family at Track Shack that inspired her to achieve her running goals. Kelly's commitment to running continues to be a source of joy and personal growth, both for herself and as a role model for her daughter.
Kevin Williams
Team Track Shack
Kevin has been running with Track Shack since January 2006. He loves running in Downtown Orlando and supporting the Orlando community so, his favorite race is the OUC Orlando Half Marathon. Disney Marathons have become his favorite marathons to run, and he has completed 8 of them. Kevin is originally from Georgia and moved to Florida in 2001. Kevin attended Appling County High School in Baxley , GA , where he was on the track team as a 1 & 2 Mile Runner.
Laura Tomlin
Team Track Shack
Laura started running 15 years ago, and since then has completed 22 half marathons and two full marathons. She currently runs with the Marathonfest training group and on the “off days” can be found at Disney or snuggling with her toddler and two golden doodles.
Michael Prince
Team Track Shack
A Central Florida resident for over 27 years, Michael was born in Oregon and grew up in northern Michigan. He has been running for 25 years, completing 66 marathons as well as hundreds of other races. A television producer, writer, and editor by trade, having worked for local companies such as Golf Channel and Disney, his very favorite activities are traveling, running marathons and other races, learning about other cultures, and cheering for his beloved Chicago Cubs. His very favorite races are the Winter Park Road Race, Chicago Marathon, and OUC Half Marathon. If you run a race around the Orlando area, you’re likely to see Mike wearing his recognizable Under Armour caps and a Track Shack singlet, so stop by and say hi!
Michelle Nunez
Team Track Shack
Michelle is a wife, mom, triathlete, Principal and overall fitness enthusiast. Running since high school, it has been a true highlight of life! Track Shack races have been a part of the Nunez life as long as we can remember! Each one of the Nunez kids (and foster children) grew up at the races. These days, Michelle is getting ready for the 2025 Kona IronMan World Championship Race in Hawaii in October. In addition to seeking an Ironman PR this year, Michelle is still hoping to achieve a sub 18 minute 5k. Michelle fills her “off time” with running, swimming, and biking, but most of her daylight hours are spent at Galileo School for Gifted Learning, where she considers herself the luckiest Principal around. Michelle is looking forward to another awesome Track Shack season and is thankful to Track Shack for their dedication to the running community.

Nate Adams

Nathan has been with Track Shack and Team Track Shack for over 20 years! He not only coaches many local runners but also embodies a deep love for running. Nathan ran for Florida State University and has completed four marathons and numerous half marathons over his career, with plans for more in the future. If you have any training or product questions at Track Shack, Nathan is your go-to expert!
Ralphy Perez
Team Track Shack
Ralphy Perez is no stranger to road races, having completed over 12 marathons and 51 half marathons, along with numerous 5ks and other distances. His running journey began young, and he transitioned to marathons in 2011 with Track Shack's MarathonFest. Serving on Team Track Shack has been a great honor for Ralphy. He is passionate about making running a safe and inclusive sport for everyone. Ralphy's favorite part of running is sharing miles with inspiring individuals in the local community and constantly seeking new ways to connect and grow with his teammates.
Rebecca Brown
Team Track Shack
Rebecca began running 12 years ago after moving back to Orlando, when she joined the Track Shack Galloway group and quickly fell in love with the sport. Since then, she has participated in races across the country and embraced her competitive side through running. A busy mom of two, Rebecca now works as a women’s running coach, holding certifications through ProNatal Fitness, UESCA, and USATF. She also serves on the board of Girls on the Run Central Florida, where she is passionate about empowering the next generation of runners.
Before coaching, Rebecca worked as an elementary school teacher and was honored as the 2013 Teacher of the Year for the Orleans Parish School Board. Today, she lives in Winter Park with her family, balancing her love of motherhood, running, and community service.

Vanessa Castro

Vanessa has been running since 2015. Initially a way to relieve stress, running has become a personal passion for Vanessa. She started with the Couch to 5k app and has since progressed to marathon running, including the NYC Marathon, a race she cherished as a spectator growing up. Vanessa has been part of Team Track Shack since 2021, serving as an Ambassador for 2 years before joining the team. She values the community and friendships she has formed through running, particularly with the Orlando Galloway Program. Vanessa's journey reflects her belief that every pace matters, and she continues to inspire others by running races while pregnant, postpartum, and pushing a stroller.
Victor Hung
Team Track Shack
Victor has been involved with the Central Florida running community since 2009, devoting his time to the Track Shack Five & Dime training program, the Orlando Runners Club, and most recently, Team Track Shack and the Track Shack Youth Foundation. In his non-running free time, he and his wife, Amy, enjoy visiting tropical destinations, spending time with family and friends, and supporting the local arts. They currently reside in College Park, where there is a very good chance you will spot Victor getting in his daily mileage.
Amy Goff
Track Shack Ambassador
Amy began her running journey in 1999, she went outside for some fresh air and walked to the stop sign, then ran to the next one. The next day she did it again and suddenly was doing it every day! After a while, Amy reached out to a Channel 2 news reporter who she heard liked to run for advice and was referred to Track Shack! Before long, she signed up for her first race, The Watermelon 5K (which remains her favorite race!) and was hooked. She has participated in a number of Track Shack training programs and completed 23 marathons including Disney, New York, Chicago, Marine Corp, Savannah, completed the Dopey Challenge and countless other 5K’s, 10K’s, Half Marathons and Challenges! Amy has helped coordinate and organize her employer’s participation in the Corporate 5k and now even has her grandkids running in the Track Shack Kids Races. Running is her happy place, surrounded by good, positive and friendly people. Amy loves being part of the running community and is excited to be part of Track Shack’s Ambassador Program to help spread the word of what a great community partner Track Shack is!

Ashley LaMontagne began her journey with Track Shack as a pre-teen. Ashley's passion for running, instilled by her active parents, has persisted ever since. She has been a dedicated Track Shack Fanatic since 2017. Despite taking short breaks for the births of her babies, Ashley remains committed to running for fitness, socialization, and mental well-being.

Crystal Martin

Crystal started running in 2020 to get healthy. In the same year, she went through a lot of life changes, and running gave her peace through all of it. Along Crystal’s journey, she found Track Shack races, which gave her specific goals and milestones to work towards. Crystal has found a love for the running community and could not be more grateful for the opportunity. Last season, she completed her first longer runs with 4 10Ks and 2 Half Marathons. This season she is recovering from an injury, so she may not be the fastest, but she will be out there! Crystal’s ran the Fanatic Series, the OUC Half Marathon, and at least one event in the last Run Disney Season. If you see her on the course, she is likely listening to an audiobook or her latest music hyper fixation. After the races, you will likely find her on a search for Breakfast Tacos! Crystal looks forward to meeting more people at the upcoming races!

Debbie Widows

Debbie is 65 years old, married 44 years to her childhood sweetheart of 50 years. They have 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren. She began her running fitness journey in 2012, inspired by her oldest daughter, who had run several Disney races, marathons, and half marathons. It was because of her that we found out about Track Shack and their amazing training programs, races events and their fabulous shoes and merchandise. Debbie and her husband have been Track Shack Fanatics since 2018. They’ve run together in countless 5K’s, 10K’s, Half Marathon’s and even challenged themselves to do a 8K Mountain Trail race. Their picture from the Battle of the Bands 5K last season was selected to be featured on the special events signs that was placed out at every Fanatic’s Race event! They’ve joined several run clubs around the Orlando area and met so many great people through the running community that share the same passion as them that truly inspire them to never stop running. Running keeps Debbie physically healthy and improves her personal self-confidence. It makes her stronger and ready to take on life’s challenges and also helps reduce her stress levels. Debbie would like to thank the amazing team at Track Shack for helping her to be successful in achieving her running goals. Debbie’s favorite running gear is cute Sprints hats, and she has quite the collection. You’ll see her wearing them at every race event and run club days.
Elyssa Hirsch

Elyssa is a 7x Marathon finisher- having done the Disney Marathon 5x, and London and NYC each once. Her first time ever running more than 1 mile was at the Star Wars 10K in 2018 with some friends- she said, “that was fun, but I don’t need to do that again!” Well... 7+ years later and Elyssa has done more races than she can count. Elyssa loves to travel, and running is one of her favorite ways to explore new places. She is a big fan of pasta, pizza, and chocolate chip cookies. Elyssa is from NJ originally but has been in Orlando since 2018 and you can find her every Saturday training with Marathon Fest!

Gian Cavedoni

Gian is originally from Venezuela, where he started to run in 2015. In 2017, Gian moved to Orlando, he was running by himself until 2019 when he heard about Track Shack on Instagram! He decided to run the Run 4 Love race in 2019 and since that race, he has enjoyed running the Track Shack Running Series races. Run 4 Love remains his favorite race as well as the Winter Park Road Race. In 2022, Gian ran the Chicago Marathon, his first Marathon! One of his goals is to run all of the World Marathon Majors. Gian is excited to be back as an ambassador for the second year in a row.

Gigi Kidary

Gigi is a nurse practitioner and very passionate about health and well-being, not only for herself, but for her family, friends, co-workers, and patients. She started her running journey in 2011 to raise funds and awareness for neurofibromatosis, which has affected her family. Gigi's first race was a half-marathon, but she made sure that she trained for it and was ecstatic when she finished it! Shortly after, someone told Gigi about Track Shack, and she joined her kids’ teachers at her first Track Shack race—Corporate 5K in 2012. Since then, Gigi has done dozens of races, including the Fanatic Series, the Disney Princess Half-Marathon, and a couple of Space Coast Races. Gigi's favorite race is Run for the Trees.

As a mother of two daughters, a teacher, and a coach, running has always been something she cherishes! Kate Malo

Kate is the retail manager for Raw Threads Athletics and lives and runs in sunny Orlando. Kate was not a runner when she was younger but grew up in Texas being active and playing many sports like softball, basketball, and volleyball. She graduated from high school in 2002 and went to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where she played volleyball as an outside hitter and earned a degree in health and fitness management. After graduating from college and moving to Orlando, she felt the need to get back into a competitive sport. She began running and started by signing up for a few 5ks, and in 2013 she completed her first half marathon, the Walt Disney World Half Marathon. After running her first 13.1 miles she was hooked and has now run 41 half marathons, 1 marathon, and has 2 more marathons coming up this coming race season! She has been a Track Shack Fanatic for the past seven years and cannot wait to do it all again this season. A Florida native, Lauren moved from the Tampa area to Orlando in the mid-2000s to attend UCF — and never left! Now a proud mom of three girls, she balances family life with her passion for running and building community, both on and off the course. When she’s not training, she works as a marketing director for a company in downtown Orlando. This fall, she’s excited to take on her third marathon — Chicago!
Lisa Sosa

Lisa has been running since 2012, inspired by her twin sister. Her journey began with Track Shack's Reindeer Run and quickly progressed to the Miami Half Marathon, which she ran with her twin! Since then, Lisa has completed 13 marathons and over 30 half marathons, as well as numerous other races across the country and around the world. An active board member of the Orlando Runners Club for over 10 years, Lisa values the sense of community and the friendships she has built through running. Lisa's favorite race is the OUC Half Marathon, which she has run every year since 2013. When not running or working as a nurse practitioner, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, trying new foods, and traveling.

Matt is a three-time Track Shack Ambassador and is always ready and excited for wherever his running takes him. Matt has participated in Five and Dime, Marathonfest, and is an active assistant in the Cheetahs Running Club. Mellissa Waters

Mellissa is the Managing Director for a law firm by day and a punk pop and running fan by night. Mellissa started running late in life, running her first 5K (Track Shack's Ladies 5K) in 2013 and completing her first Marathon (WDW) on her 40th birthday 2 years later. Since then, she has run 8 more Marathons, 20 Half's, and over 100 5K's. She has been a Track Shack Fanatic for the past 10 years and an Ambassador for St. Pete Run Fest since 2022. In 2021, she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Raynaud's Syndrome and has since worked to adjust her training to continue running - she believes in an attitude of gratitude for every day she is healthy and can keep running!

Rene Flores

Rene began running in February 2024, shortly after a painful personal experience pushed him to make a change. His first race was the Watermelon 5K and from that moment, he was all in: joining run clubs, traveling to races, and participating in nearly every Track Shack event since. He is a Father of 3, a professional touring musician Bassist and a Voting Grammy member that has been part of dozens of nominated recordings. A life-long Miami sports fan, he loves his Miami teams - Hurricanes, Dolphins, Panthers, Marlins, Miami International-CF, and Heat. When you don’t find him running at run clubs and races you can find him on a stage somewhere in the world!

Scott Richman

Scott first began his running journey in 2021 when he was signed up by a friend for the NYC Marathon. Being the kid who used to tell his High School gym teacher that he didn’t want to run the required lap around the track, somehow he finished that race in 6 hours and 30 minutes. Scott has now done over 16 Marathons and countless other races, slowly getting faster, even winning a few races and improving his health along the way. His favorite race is a tie between the NYC and Berlin Marathons. Scott is currently training for the Philadelphia Marathon and hoping to Boston Qualify within the next year! Scott enjoys running because the energy of a race course is truly unmatched - and he has met so many friends and chosen family along the way.

Tracy Howard

Tracy is so thrilled to be a Track Shack ambassador! You’ll find this Peloton obsessed, avid runner always dressing in theme, and she loves a good challenge medal! She is always running at Disney and striving to medal in a race in all 50 states as her long term racing goal. This year, Tracy hopes to best her marathon time at her first World Majors in Chicago! Her 6th marathon will be followed closely by Honolulu and her 4th Dopey Challenge in January. She started running back in 2018 to help deal with the grief of the loss of her best friend and the love grew through Covid and beyond. Tracy loves the camaraderie of the local running communities found through living in central Florida and racing with Track Shack. Supporting a local business that is always giving back makes her a proud ambassador! She has a solemate in her boyfriend, Chris, and a wonderful 11yo daughter, GiGi, who both give her constant love and support in all the crazy racing she does!

William Hataway
Track Shack Ambassador
William is an Orlando-native who started running his freshman year at Edgewater High School. Like many others in the Central Florida community, he got his first pair of running shoes (and many more after) at Track Shack. Running started for him as a way to get in shape, but quickly developed into an integral part of his life. To William, the pursuit of PR’s becomes much more fulfilling when you are chasing them with others, and that's why he loves being a part of Team Track Shack. Today, he runs not only for the the opportunities to be competitive, but the celebration and recognition of efforts beyond time, and the opportunity to experience the sport with others while mutually fostering each others success and supporting one another. His current goal is to run all of the World Marathon Majors by the age of 30!
Christopher Carmody
Board President
Chris was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in 1998. Four years later, he received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Florida, with a minor in human nutrition. While at UF, Chris was active in student government activities and regularly attended both football and basketball games. In 2005, Chris graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Chris interned at the Florida Supreme Court for The Honorable Raoul G. Cantero. He also researched under Dean Jon Mills in the Center for Governmental Responsibility. He was a member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Board and in his final semester served as president.
Betsy Ryan
Board Vice President
A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Betsy Ryan has actively contributed to the Central Florida community for the past 25 years. Her journey began after she graduated from the University of Florida, when she relocated to Winter Park to be with her college sweetheart and now-husband, Andrew. In 2002, they embarked on their first marathon together, igniting Betsy's enduring passion for running. Betsy's dedication to running remains unwavering, and she has made significant contributions through her involvement with the Track Shack's Marathonfest program. For several years, she served as a dedicated (sometimes singing) group leader. Betsy's running journey has been marked by countless short races and an impressive tally of over 30 marathons, including seven appearances at the prestigious Boston Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon, Kona Marathon, and a noteworthy victory as the first female Masters at the 2019 Tomoka Marathon. When she's not hitting the pavement, Betsy is deeply committed to her community. She volunteers in the College and Career Center at Winter Park High School and actively participates in the activities of the First United Methodist Church in Winter Park. In addition to her role in the student ministry program, Betsy shines as the volunteer race director for the Inua 5k, a position she has held since the race's inception in 2016. This event supports Inua Partners in Hope, a ministry of FUMCWP, and has raised over $200,000 for this noble cause over the past 8 years. Betsy and Andrew are proud parents of three daughters and share a love for family travel. Betsy's youngest daughter is also a runner, driven by the goal of one day outpacing her mother on the racecourse.
Bryan Crist
Board Trustee
Bryan is the owner of Horizon Graphics, Inc., a national fleet and retail branding company focused on the production and installation of vinyl graphics. He is also an owner of ProLogo Branding, a garment decorating company located in Orlando. Bryan is married to wife, Stephanie, and father of three daughters. He started running with Track Shack Marathon Fest in 2001 and became fully engaged in the transformative impact of running on health and life. He has run 30 marathons including 8 Boston Marathons but loves to race at any distance. Having become a student and evangelist of the sport and training, Bryan started coaching and served as the Head Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country and Distance Track at the First Academy Orlando from 2012 thru 2020. Bryan and Stephanie are members of First Orlando Baptist Church.
Claire Pagán
Board Trustee
Claire is a dedicated educator and coach currently serving as a Physical Education teacher and the Track and Field and Cross-Country coach at Orangewood Christian School. Claire has designed impactful health and wellness programs for AdventHealth employees and led notable sporting events for the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. She has served as the Tournament Director for NCAA golf tournaments and the Race Director of the Daytona Beach Half Marathon. Her work with the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, organizing grant committees and achieving over $1 million in community donations, stands out, along with her role as Campaign Manager for the Northern & Central Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training showcasing non-profit leadership. As a Valencia Promise Mentor, Claire has guided and inspired students from 8th to 12th grade for over 14 years. She has a heart for youth and the community, making her involvement with the Track Shack Youth Foundation a perfect fit. An active athlete in CrossFit and running distances from 5Ks to ultras, Claire's favorite race has been the Boston Marathon. She’s currently focused on training for the NYC Marathon while aiming to earn her third World Marathon Major star. An active member at WaterStone Church, Claire serves in the children's ministry and co-created the church's run club, Feet to Faith. Married for 13 years, she has two children, a 10-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son, and a long-haired mini dachshund named Sky. A book nerd, Claire is often found with her nose in a book when not working out or spending time with family.
Catherine Chevalier

Catherine Chevalier is retired, having worked in public service for two municipalities in California, including Financial Services, Legal Services, and Parks and Recreation, over 32 years. Catherine received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, and her Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Hayward. Catherine relocated to Florida from California in 2015, and joined the Track Shack community in 2016, finding real joy in the camaraderie in the running community here in Florida. Catherine has been a runner since participating in high school cross country and track. She is honored to be a member of Team Track Shack for two years after serving as a Track Shack Ambassador. She has completed three marathons (including Disney and Chicago), three 70.3 distance triathlons and one century ride. She has volunteered for various non-profit organizations in both California and Florida. Catherine resides in Winter Park, and is an avid traveler, baker, and lover of the outdoors. Her passion for travel is only second to her love for her husband, Russ, and two children, Brian and Sara.
Ralphy Perez

Ralphy serves as the Senior Field Marketing Manager for Spectrum Reach, the advertising division of Charter Communications. On his day-to-day, Ralphy along with his Field Marketing team develops and executes the marketing strategy for the Central Florida Market, focusing on lead generation, brand awareness, marketing activation, and customer retention. An Orlando native and proud alumnus of the University of Central Florida, Ralphy’s journey with Track Shack started in 2011 when he started training with Marathonfest. From there, his love for the sport and the running community amplified. Running on Team Track Shack since 2019, you can always catch him at the start line of a Track Shack race. If don’t see Ralphy at the start line, you’ll most likely see him volunteering at the kid's race, pacing and motivating the next generation of athletes.
Katie Norris

Katie was born in Titusville, Florida and grew up going to Track Shack with her father, whom she gained her passion for running from. She was a member of the Titusville High School cross country and track team and has continued running to this day. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Florida, with a minor in Mass Communications. In 2017, Katie graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, she interned on Capitol Hill for a Florida Congressman and for the Brevard County Attorney’s Office. Katie and her husband Donnie wed in 2024 and enjoy spending time with their pug Walter, traveling, and watching Florida sports, especially the Orlando Magic and the Gators.
Gregor Alexander

Dr. Gregor Alexander was born in Colombia, South America in 1947. He grew up in Cali and Bogota, where he received his medical degree. Gregor came to the United States at the age of 25 to pursue his career in medicine. His passion for babies led him into the field of neonatology. Eventually, Dr. Alexander's career path took him to Orlando in the late 1970s, a city that was experiencing explosive growth. He befriended golf legend Arnold Palmer and his wife, Winnie, and with the support of others their collaboration led to the creation of the Arnold and Winnie Palmer Hospitals. Dr. Alexander served as medical director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Chairman of Pediatrics and Chairman of the Palmer Hospital Foundation. During his 40-year-plus career with his partners and staff he cared for more than 45 thousand babies. The neonatal unit was named after him. Gregor has 4 children and 4 grandchildren and lives in Winter Park. He remains involved in medical missions, neonatal consulting and teaching.
Jodi Thorp

Jodi is a Consultant with The FOCUS Group (https://thefocusgroup.com/), a major donor fundraising firm that specializes in capital and annual campaigns. Jodi has extensive experience coaching nonprofit executives in management, major gift fundraising, marketing and communications. She has a heart for serving those who are disadvantaged and underserved, and she has a lifelong history of volunteerism in many areas within the community. A native of Baton Rouge, Jodi received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Public Administration from Louisiana State University. Her love for running began in high school through cross country and track. She continued to run around the LSU lakes in college but running became her main activity after the birth of her children. She has participated in nearly every half marathon in Central Florida, and even discovered triathlons for a season, which she found to be another incredibly fun sport. Jodi enjoys the outdoors and anything on water, especially paddleboarding. She is the proud mom of a middle schooler and two college aged children.
Tonja Williams

Tonja Williams is a Nursing Administrator with One Blood, Inc., a prominent community-based blood center, and the CEO/Founder of Mission To Health, LLC, a company which provides CPR certification, OSHA training, Zumba fitness, and health lectures. Fulfilling her calling as a Registered Nurse for over 29 years, Tonja obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Florida State University School of Nursing in 1993. A native of Lake Wales, Florida Tonja’s fervor for improving health earned her a trip to the White House in 2013 as the first prize winner of former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Communities on the Move Video Challenge. Tonja’s zeal for fitness also catapulted her into the national spotlight as the featured Zumba instructor for the 2016 National Council of La Raza Latino Family Expo, 2016 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion, 2017 Tom Joyner Foundation Fantastic Voyage, and the 2022 PepsiCo Move As One Wellness Celebration. Tonja discovered her passion for running as a freshman on the Lake Wales High School track team. She is currently a Run Coordinator with Black Girls Run Orlando and has completed the Selma to Montgomery 51 Mile Relay, 6 half marathons, as well as numerous 10Ks and 5Ks. A member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Eatonville, Florida, Tonja serves as Faith Community Nurse and Health Ministry Co-Chair. She is a board member of the University of Central Florida College of Nursing Advisory, Florida S.A.G.E. Council and is former Vice President of the Central Florida Black Nurses Association. Tonja also volunteers her time with Family Promise of Greater Orlando, Black Nurses Rock Orlando, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Tonja enjoys music, outdoor adventures, and traveling. She is the proud mother of one son, Channing, and resides in Lake Mary with her loving husband Lavon.
Victor Hung

Dr. Victor Hung has been involved with the Central Florida running community since 2009, beginning with the inception of his weekly ritual of training with the Track Shack Five & Dime Program. Between 2011 and 2019, he served on the Executive Board of the Orlando Runners Club, including four years as President. In 2019, Victor was invited to become a Team Track Shack member and in 2020, he joined the Track Shack Youth Foundation Board, two groups that he is very grateful to be a part of. A Lake Mary High School ('98) and Carnegie Mellon University (BS '02, MS '02) graduate, Victor concluded his educational aspirations at the University of Central Florida with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. He is a Research Scientist at Soar Technology, a provider of artificial intelligence software to government organizations. While Victor appreciates his share of logging long runs and pontificating about A.I., he and his wife, Amy, enjoy visiting tropical destinations, spending time with family and friends, and supporting the local arts. They currently reside in the College Park neighborhood, where there is a very good chance you will spot Victor getting in his daily mileage.
Kendra Douglas

Kendra is a team reporter with the Orlando Magic and two-time Edward R. Murrow Award winner. In her current job she serves as a sideline reporter on Bally Sports Florida telecasts as well as a correspondent for the team’s social media channels. Kendra previously spent time as the weekend sports anchor and reporter at WESH 2 News in Orlando, Florida. At WESH, she covered former Quarterback Tom Brady's years playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the team’s Super Bowl run as well as Brady's return to the New England Patriots. She has covered the Orlando Magic from its time playing in the bubble to Paolo Banchero winning Rookie of the Year to now. Kendra won an Edward R. Murrow Regional award for her story on former NFL player “HaHa” Clinton-Dix sharing how the town of Eatonville helped shape him into the person he is today. She covered the Tampa Bay Rays, both the NWSL and MLS in Orlando and a range of other teams in Central Florida.
Paul Gidus

Paul Gidus is owner of PSG Construction, LLC, a custom home and renovation company he started with his brother in 1987 when they were in their early 20’s. PSG Construction has received numerous local, regional, and national awards for its work. It has also been featured in numerous local, regional, and national publications for consumer and industry professionals. Most recently, Paul received the 2018 Florida Home Builders Association Remodeler of the Year Award, and received the 2016 Remodeler of the Year Award from the Greater Orlando Builders Association. His company was chosen by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) to renovate the first-ever Renewed American Home® near Lake Eola in 2007. Committed to supporting his community and giving back to those in need, Paul volunteered as a project manager on numerous occasions for Project Mexico, a home building non-profit located outside of Tijuana, Mexico. Most recently, he managed the renovation of a donated house for Bithlo Transformation Village, turning the structure into an after-school haven for the children of the underserved community of Bithlo. Paul is also a long-time member of St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church where he serves on its parish council as Building Chair. In his spare time, Paul loves to participate in 5Ks, has run in 25 marathons including the Boston Marathon, enjoys collecting wine, and loves to travel with his family. He resides with his wife, Tammy, of 30 years, in a home he built across from Lake Sue. They have three adult children.
Stephanie Vanos

Always active, but never a runner, Stephanie discovered running after becoming a mother. Since then, she has enjoyed running many races, from the 5k to the marathon. Stephanie grew up just outside of Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University. She attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and practiced law for several years at Lowndes in downtown Orlando. Stephanie served on the board of directors for the Pace Center for Girls, as well as Girls on the Run Central Florida where she was Board Chair for two years. She is currently the co-chair of the Education Committee of the League of Women Voters of Orange County.
Mark Fugett

Mark Fugett is the President for Managed Services Group Inc., a Technology as a Service (TaaS) consulting firm in Maitland that offers support to varying organizations to successfully navigate the maze of today’s business technologies. Mark obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (B.B.A) at Florida Southern College and his Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University. The Chicago native stands by the values of honesty, integrity and loyalty. Mark carries a heart of compassion for others and serves as an adviser and mentor to many in his community network. He believes that the lessons he has learned in his life has equipped him with the tools to stay true to his word and embody a vessel of good in the Lord’s name. A husband to Carrie and father of two boys, Tyler and Jacob, Mark still makes the time to volunteer his time and resources for the greater good of his community, as well as in his church. His passion for sports and adventure has originated from an early age. He’s competed in numerous marathons and triathlons, plus qualified and ran in the historic 2013 Boston Marathon! He has a passion for athletics and knows a holistic mind and body are the key to success. As a lead cyclist for Track Shack’s EMMI, Mark has also offers his time to manage Track Shack Events. It was only natural for Mark to evolve into a Board Trustee for Track Shack Youth Foundation.
Jon Hughes
Co-Owner
Recognized as a leader in the sport of running, Jon began running competitively at Winter Park High, and continued running at Seminole Community College and Appalachian State. He has since completed 12 marathons, including Boston, Berlin, Chicago and Marine Corps. Since the late 1970’s, Jon has pioneered the organization of amateur athletic events, first in his home-base of Central Florida and today throughout the world. He has been recognized for his outstanding leadership and organizational achievements by the Florida Athletics Congress (USATF), the Pan American Junior Games, the Governor of Florida, and the Grand Bahamas Promotions Board. Jon was one of the youngest inductees into the Florida Track & Field Hall of Fame; admitted in 1987 at the age of 29. In 2008, he and his wife Betsy Hughes (Track Shack Co-owner) were inducted into the Running Event Hall of Fame, and the Running USA Hall of Champions in 2009. Also in 2009, Jon became a member of the Running USA Board of Directors. Jon has been the Race Director of the Walt Disney World Marathon since it’s inception in 1994. His expertise has led him all over the world.
Jon and Betsy and have two children, Emma and Christopher. Emma teaches Latin at Maclay School in Tallahassee and Christopher oversees the Track Shack Retail operations. They also have two beautiful granddaughters, one each from Emma and Christopher. His main hobby is still running. Running has also helped him in all aspects of his life - physically, emotionally and mentally. He also enjoy the beach and body surfing (he can’t skim anymore), the mountains (hiking with Betsy), reading periodicals and watching TV/Movies, or just having coffee with friends.

Betsy Hughes

Betsy began working at Track Shack in the late 70’s when there were just a handful of shoes on the wall to choose from. Fast forward to 1983, Betsy and Jon bought the store and property from his two partners. Jon and Betsy are truly a team, each with their own specialties and strong work ethic. Betsy credits Track Shack and Track Shack Events' success to the amazing people they have hired and surrounded themselves with, like Natalie Casey, Tom Ward, and Mike Zwer. Our business is selling shoes, but our passion is people.
Betsy started running when she was 14 years old; the only one of six siblings to do so. (This inspired her mother, who began her own running and hiking career at age 50!) Betsy and Jon have two amazing kids, Emma and Chris, and she loves being ‘Nana’ to Talia and Adrienne! In her spare time, she loves to read, spending time with Jon, catching up on life, often when on walks and hikes.

Natalie Casey

A graduate of Florida Southern College (B.S. in Sports Management, 1986), Natalie is a 38-year sports marketing veteran who is dedicated to promoting, building, and serving healthy lifestyles and communities. For many years, she served as Track Shack's Vice President of Communications. Now transitioning from the day-to-day marketing operations, allows her to focus on press and publicity initiatives while contributing to Track Shack’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Her passions extend to her volunteer work with Southeastern Guide Dogs, an organization that provides guide dogs to visually impaired citizens so that they may enjoy more physically mobile lifestyles. She is proud to have successfully raised a working guide dog. As an outdoor enthusiast she has completed five marathons, one Ragnar Trail Relay, two Ironman 70.3 races and numerous races at various distances. Natalie lives in Winter Park with her husband Mark and has two grown children, who also share her commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Michelle Maretti
Chief Operating Officer
Michelle L. Maretti serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Track Shack Events, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience in event management to the role. She joined Track Shack Events in 2016, following 16 years with runDisney. A long-time Central Florida resident, Michelle has been a part of the Orlando community since 1992, when she began her studies at the University of Central Florida. She has a lifelong passion for reading, with a special interest in history, and enjoys traveling with her family to visit historical places.
Favorite place to travel to? Brazil holds a special place for me, as my husband was born and raised in São Paulo, and my son is Brazilian-American. This connection gives me an immense affection for the culture and the people. As a history enthusiast, I am eager to explore the country’s vast diversity and rich history firsthand, and I am actively working to learn Portuguese!
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Stephen Curry because of his his rare combination of talent and humble leadership. Despite his immense success, he remains remarkably grounded, consistently focusing on the success of his team over his own accolades. His unselfish approach and visible dedication to his family and faith offer a powerful model for achieving greatness without arrogance.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian due to my deep love for animals. However, the dream was quickly proven unrealistic because I am simply too squeamish to handle the medical realities of the job.
Chris Hughes

Chris graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a degree in Political Science and has worked as a running specialty store manager at two previous stops (1st Place Sports in Jacksonville and Capital City Runners in Tallahassee). His passion for the sport of running, the amazing people in the Central Florida running community, and the opportunity to help customers leave feeling better than they did when they came in is why he has been in the running industry since he was 16 years old and doesn't plan on leaving it! Chris is married to his amazing wife Audrey is from Ottawa Ontario (Canada) and they have a beautiful daughter named Adrienne who is the center of their world. He loves running, lifting weights and is a self-proclaimed sports fanatic, especially when it comes to the Noles, Bucs and Magic!

Nathan Adams

Nathan has been with Track Shack since June of 2003. Along with being one of the managers and buyer for the store, he also dedicates his time as the Five and Dime coach for the Track Shack Training Programs. Originally from Missouri, Nathan attended high school at Lyman High School in Longwood, FL then went on to college at Florida State University. While earning a degree in Physical Education and Health at FSU, Nathan also ran cross country and track for the Seminoles.
Running remains a huge part of Nathan's life as he now competes in marathons and one day plans to do ironmans. In his first marathon at the 2008 Oklahoma City Marathon, Nathan finished first overall! When he's not working, running, or coaching Nathan enjoys eating, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. Current PR's include 5k-14:42, 10K-30:28, 15K-48:08, Half Marathon 1:11:23, Marathon 2:32:08.
If you were a superhero, what would your power be? I would want to be able to fly.
Favorite place to travel to? My favorite place to travel to is Boston. I love the running scene and the food!
What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be either a teacher or a police officer.
Favorite Track Shack Event & why? My favorite event is the Winter Park 10K. I love the 10K distance for racing because it requires both speed and endurance. The course gives you a little bit of everything from hills, beautiful scenery, and the weather is typically nice.

Kerrie Gregory

Kerrie is Track Shack's Outreach Coordinator and the director of our Galloway marathon and half marathon training program. You’ll also find her in the retail store, where she helps runners get the right fit for their shoes and is also the resident Brooks bra expert. She's a proud Orlando native — one of the few! She grew up here and earned her degree at UCF. In her free time, she loves traveling, going to concerts, and exploring restaurants around town.
What’s your guilty pleasure TV show or movie? FRIENDS is my guilty pleasure TV show. I’ve watched it countless times because it always makes me laugh and cry — and I never get tired of it!
Favorite Track Shack Event & why? Winter Park 10K is my favorite race we host. The course is beautiful, and since it’s the final event of the Race Series, there’s a unique spark in the air that makes it extra special.
Favorite race distance & why? Half marathon. The training is manageable, you feel accomplished, and it's a great challenge.
How many marathons/half marathons have you completed? I have run 14 marathons, 5 ultras, and 32 halves. Retired? Maybe. Still chasing adventure? Always.
What’s your go-to song on your running playlist? I don't run with music often, but when I do, "Innerbloom" by Rufus du Sol is always first - It makes the first mile feel effortless.
Are you a morning runner, evening jogger, or weekend warrior? I'm a morning runner - it's the best way to wake up, feel accomplished, and enjoy the quietest roads. Most of my runs start and finish before the world is even awake.
Bruce Egeland

Bruce joined the Track Shack management team in 2005 after working part time at the store for two years. Prior to that, he spent six years each managing a contract photo business at Sea World and managing a restaurant in Gainesville. Bruce's first retail job was at a running store in NJ while he was in college!
Bruce is a lifelong runner who loves the sport and outdoor activities. He's been happily married to Ceiça for over 18 years.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done? Hiked the Tyndal Glacier in Rocky Mountain National Park when I was 23. Looking back on it some sections were scary dangerous.

Matt Scarano

Matt has been with Track Shack for over 4 years and is enjoying being back in Orlando. Connecting with staff and the running community every day are his favorite parts of being on the Track Shack team. In his spare time, you can find Matt scanning the record stores to improve his vinyl record collection, sitting on his balcony after work enjoying some of the few cooler Florida evenings, and hanging out in his favorite Orlando area neighborhoods with his wife and friends!
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Nicholas Cage. He just seems like he would have some crazy stories to share, and I’m a National Treasure nerd.
Favorite place to travel to? Wildwood, NJ. It is this quaint little island beach town on the Jersey Shore. I consider it my getaway spot all year round.
What did you want to be when you grew up? A big radio DJ. I’ve had the opportunity to do a little bit of that, and still like to record some sports and music shows with friends over the weekends.
Favorite way to stay active (besides running)? Swimming. I have access to a great swimming pool, its fun and a nice alternative to running in the Florida heat.
Alicia Albert

Alicia oversees the planning and production of the premier running events for Track Shack Events. She began her career with Disney Sports Enterprises at ESPN Wide World of Sports before joining the runDisney Event Management Team, where she discovered her passion for road racing. Since then, she has managed operations for major events at both Walt Disney World® and Disneyland®.
Since joining Track Shack in 2015, Alicia has directed more than 16 annual races in the Orlando area and currently serves as Race Director for the runDisney portfolio, including Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend, one of the largest race weekends in the country. In 2024, she also served as Start Director for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon in Orlando, a nationally celebrated event produced by Track Shack Events. Alicia is a New Jersey native and proud William Paterson University alum. She enjoys staying active and spending time with her two young daughters.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Like every good millennial, I wanted to be a marine biologist! Thank you, Free Willy, Lisa Frank stationery, and the ‘90s mantra that saving dolphins was basically a career path.
Favorite Track Shack Event & why? OUC Orlando Half Marathon is my favorite. There’s something thrilling about watching it grow, and I’m proud of our team’s focus on responsible, sustainable practices.

As Director of IT for Track Shack, Scott enjoys the challenge - it means orchestrating secure and reliable technology for retail, registration, timing, and live race data. It's a high-energy role that blends logistical coordination with real time problem solving to support thousands of runners and spectators.
Growing up in Southern California gave Scott a love for sunshine, innovation, and hands-on creativity. He's always enjoyed tinkering with electronics, repairing gadgets and learning how things work from the inside out. When he's not building intricate LEGO sets, he's exploring new cultures and destinations around the world, always chasing the next adventure.
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Adam Savage from Mythbusters to geek out over his creative builds, behind-the-scenes stories from the show, and his passion for blending science with imagination.
What's the most adventurous thing you have done? Snowboarding across the Swiss, French, Austrian, and German Alps, which offered a thrilling blend of majestic peaks, diverse terrain, and rich alpine culture.
What did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut so I could explore the vast unknown and touch the stars.
Annie Thompkins
Marketing Director
Born and raised in Haiti, Annie graduated from the University of Central Florida, where she was a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field team. Her passion for running led her to join Track Shack in September 2008, where she now oversees marketing and race registration. An avid runner, she has completed several half marathons and marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2014. She holds several Haitian records for various running distances. When she’s not at work Annie enjoys spending time with her family.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done? Hang gliding in Groveland, Florida!
Favorite place to travel to? Washington State; I’m obsessed with the mountains, the ocean, and that crisp, refreshing air.
Favorite Track Shack Event & why? Lady Track Shack 5K; it’s the only Track Shack event I actually get to run, and the energy is just different. There’s something so powerful about women supporting women and taking over the road together.
Kim Bruno
Event & Operations Director
Kim has been coordinating large-scale athletic and running events for over 20 years and has enjoyed every minute of it! She has been an integral part of all the runDisney races, Peach Tree 10K, NYC Marathon, Lilac Bloomsday 12K, the Twin Cities Marathon, Charlotte Marathon and Half-Marathon, and helped develop and start an Obstacle Event series. Her expertise is in race coordination, course certification, event operational logistics, state-of-the-art equipment management, participant registration and much more.
She is a graduate of Lake Brantley High School and Flagler College. She enjoys running - both trail and road, biking, hiking, camping, spending time with friends and family, and takes any chance she can to get outside. It is her favorite place to be!

Michele Ward
Timing Director
Michele started working with Track Shack Events in 2010 in the Timing Operations Division and later moved into the role of Timing Director. She is the Lead Timer/Scorer for all the runDisney events. She also oversees the inventory and maintenance of the timing equipment, and the training of the timing staff. On race day, you’ll find Michele in front of the computer making sure everything is working. Michele graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Management Information Systems. She has run several marathons (her first marathon was Medoc in France), and numerous half marathons. Michele enjoys traveling with her husband Tom, and spending time with her family, especially her four grandkids.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done? Hiked to the Subway in Zion National Park (10 hours up and back, lots of scrambling over rocks and uphill, but worth it for the view)
What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was in 3rd grade, I wrote a report that I wanted to be a teacher, but by high school I had changed my mind. Didn’t like unruly students.

Jason Matthews

Jason has been working with Track Shack for 15 years as Day of Race Staff and was recently promoted to Course Director for RunDisney. Previously, he worked with Disney for 15 years, producing a variety of events. Outside of event managing, Jason has a busy home life, with six kids at home ranging from14 years to 1 year-old.
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Shaq. I admire his leadership skills and bringing a balanced approach of combining humor with seriousness.

Katelyn, originally from Janesville, WI, holds a Master of Arts in Sports & Recreation Management from Kent State University. Her career in the running industry began with DMSE Sports, Inc., sparking her passion for road race management. Previously the Race Director for the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K and the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run, she now serves as Track Shack Events’ Senior Event Manager and as Finish Director and Staging Director for runDisney’s renowned Orlando events. An avid runner herself, Katelyn has completed 19 marathons, including Boston, NYC, and Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys Orangetheory Fitness, playing tennis, Disney Park hopping, and spending time with her dog, Benji.

Dave joined Track Shack in 2023 after building his career in corporate partnerships with Orlando City Soccer Club and UCF Athletics. He brings over 13 years of experience in the sports industry, including roles with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Aspire Group at Rutgers University. Dave grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2013 with dual degrees in sport management and communication and now serves as a Board Member on the Alumni Advisory Board. When not at Track Shack, he enjoys hiking with his wife and their dog, exploring the local food scene, and traveling. He is also a passionate Formula 1 fan (Go Papaya!).
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Valtteri Bottas, F1 Driver, There really is no more unique personality on the F1 grid than Bottas. He is the most laid back, doesn’t take himself too seriously, is a competitive biker as a side hustle and owns his own Gin brand. Inez is a 25-year sports volunteer manager who is dedicated on build strong relationship with community groups and individual volunteers. She started her Volunteer Management career at the Walt Disney World Resort, runDisney team in 1998 where she recruited, trained and managed over 9K community volunteers. In her current role, Inez assists with event operation support for Track Shack Events. Her role focuses on-site support to ensure successful event execution. She enjoys talking to people and building strong relationships, reading and raising her 18-year-old daughter. Outside of work she enjoys the company of her family and friends where she loves to cook and have a good time.

Caitlin joined the Track Shack team back in 2013 and has held many different roles since then, ranging from packet pick-up, day of race crew, and office administration. When not in the office or at the events, she enjoys spending time with my nieces and nephews, baking, or heading to Disney. She also loves snuggling with my cat. When the cool weather finally comes to Florida, she ventures outside to soak it all in.
What is the most adventurous thing you have done? Travel cross country to visit national parks, including going to the top of the Gateway Arch, driving thru the floods in the mid-west (that was terrifying), and horseback riding at Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone.
Favorite Place to Travel to? North Carolina (Charlotte and surrounding areas)
Favorite Track Shack event and why? Reindeer Run because I LOVE Christmas and it is a cute fun event for the family that involves dashing through the wonderous land of marine life.

Autumn was raised here in Florida and attended Penn State University to earn a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and a minor in marketing/business. Her love of people and being in the sales/marketing world has brought her all around the Orlando area to Under Armour Marketing and Cirkul Field Marketing before joining us here at Track Shack! When Autumn isn’t working, you can find her playing soccer, taking photos, or traveling the world. She has been to 20 different countries!

Nolan McDonald
Event Coordinator
Nolan is an Orlando native and graduated with a B.S. in Sports Management at the University of Florida in 2021. He was a track and field student manager for 3 years while studying at UF. Prior to joining Track Shack Events, Nolan worked with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission including working with the VIP Hospitality Events 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon trials in downtown Orlando with the Sports Commission. Nolan began as an Event Coordinator with Track Shack Events in September 2024. In his personal time, loves spending time with his two dogs and three cats. Nolan also plays in local slow pitch softball leagues and enjoys attending concerts with friends and family.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done? Studied abroad in the Dominican Republic during the summer of 2019, learning Spanish along the way.
Favorite place to travel to? Colorado! I grew up there for some years as a child and love every opportunity to go back and visit.

Bella is from Orlando, FL and graduated with a B.S. in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University. Her passion for creating memorable experiences and bringing creative ideas to life has been the driving force of her previous involvement with the Eagle Nation Collective & within the collegiate athletics space.
As a lifelong Track Shack participant, she’s excited to now be part of the team behind the scenes. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her trying out new coffee shops, planning her next weekend getaway, or relaxing by the pool.
What celebrity would you want to have dinner with and why? Paris Hilton, easy! She is the original influencer & girl boss - I have endless questions for her. She also has the cutest dogs & I would love to meet them.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done? Getting my scuba diving certification. My most adventurous dive was in an old shipwreck!
What did you want to be when you grew up? A "Rockstar Dentist", which is exactly how it sounds. I wanted to be a dentist by day and a pop star by night.

Originally from Atlanta, Josh worked in freelance digital content creation and social media before earning his B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing. Now living in Orlando, he has run multiple Track Shack and runDisney races and is honored to be working at Track Shack Events, where he can combine his love for running and social media. Outside of work, Josh loves being outdoors, whether running, biking, hiking, or spending the day at the beach. He also enjoys catching Orlando Magic games!

Daniela joined Track Shack following a 10-year career break during which she was a stay-at-home parent. As Office Administrator, she serves as the primary point of contact for participant inquiries before, during, and after our events, and she loves being part of such an energetic and inspiring community! Outside of work, Daniela is married to her husband, whom she's known since middle school, and they are raising three teenage boys—never a dull moment! She's passionate about health, movement, and finding joy in staying active.

Ceiça Egeland
Bib Pickup Lead
Ceiça has been with Track Shack Events since January 2008. In her role, she keeps the Bib Pickup area organized and ready for race participants, including tagging, assigning and labeling bibs, and organizing the shirts by sizes. During the pick up, she focuses on welcoming the athletes with a helpful and positive attitude, providing information about the race and distributing race materials.
Ceiça holds a degree in Bilingual Executive Secretarial from Newton Paiva University in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She worked as a secretary in a Law Firm for many years before coming to to the United States to improve her English skills. She has been married to Bruce for eighteen years. In her spare times, she enjoys baking and cooking, taking care of her plants, listening to music and going to the movies.

In Dan's previous professional life, he worked for FIS, a financial technology company, for 30 year and retired in January 2020. Dan's role with Track Shack is Training Programs Co-Director, which allows him to work with all of the program coaches to support them and provide them with the tools to have a successful training session, year after year! Dan graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in business and currently resides in Maitland with his wife Laura.

Kerrie Gregory
Program Director, Orlando Galloway Training
Kerri is Track Shack's Outreach Coordinator and the director of our Galloway marathon and half marathon training program. You’ll also find her in the retail store, where she helps runners get the right fit for their shoes and is also the resident Brooks bra expert. She's a proud Orlando native — one of the few! She grew up here and earned her degree at UCF. In her free time, she loves traveling, going to concerts, and exploring restaurants around town.
Favorite race distance & why? Half marathon. The training is manageable, you feel accomplished, and it's a great challenge.
How many marathons/half marathons have you completed? I have run 14 marathons, 5 ultras, and 32 halves. Retired? Maybe. Still chasing adventure? Always.
What’s your go-to song on your running playlist? I don't run with music often, but when I do, "Innerbloom" by Rufus du Sol is always first - It makes the first mile feel effortless.
Are you a morning runner, evening jogger, or weekend warrior? I'm a morning runner - it's the best way to wake up, feel accomplished, and enjoy the quietest roads. Most of my runs start and finish before the world is even awake.
Nathan Adams
Five & Dime Coach
Nathan has been with Track Shack since June of 2003. Along with being one of the managers and buyer for the store, he also dedicates his time as the Five and Dime coach for the Track Shack Training Programs. Originally from Missouri, Nathan attended high school at Lyman High School in Longwood, FL then went on to college at Florida State University. While earning a degree in Physical Education and Health at FSU, Nathan also ran cross country and track for the Seminoles.
Running remains a huge part of Nathan's life as he now competes in marathons and one day plans to do ironmans. In his first marathon at the 2008 Oklahoma City Marathon, Nathan finished first overall! When he's not working, running, or coaching Nathan enjoys eating, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. Current PR's include 5k-14:42, 10K-30:28, 15K-48:08, Half Marathon 1:11:23, Marathon 2:32:08.

Best advice for beginners? Be patient and not do too much too soon. Runners tend to do too much too soon, and they get injured. Remember it’s a life long activity and you want to be able to continue.
Favorite workout? 4x mile @ 5k pace.
Favorite Track Shack Event & why? My favorite event is the Winter Park 10K. I love the 10K distance for racing because it requires both speed and endurance. The course gives you a little bit of everything from hills, beautiful scenery, and the weather is typically nice.

Dave owned and operated Dickinson Advertising, Inc., 44 years. Since then, he has coached tennis ay Lake Highland Preparatory School, offers private tennis lessons and is a run coach for Track Shack's Cheetahs and Five & Dime training programs. Dave obtained his degree from Indiana University. He loves spending time with his large and growing family - he has 4 Children, 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren & counting. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hunting, fishing & golf. Also volunteers weekly for Seminole Forest Wildlife Management, work landscaping and feed horses for Enquine Angels Foundation.

Wayne is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh 1978 and a 4 year all-star varsity letterman in basketball. He brings his athletic training and experiences to the track. Wayne is a seasoned professional in Physical Education with over 23 years experience. Wayne has been a runner for 10+ years and has several marathons and half-marathons under his belt. His passion for health and fitness shines on and off the track.

Prior to becoming a Run Coach, Dan worked for AAA for 33 years as the Director of Accounting operations, managing the Financial system and Payroll. He started running in 1990, slowly progressing from 5Ks to 10Ks to Half Marathons and then Marathons through the MarathonFest training program. Dan has been married to Lisa for 36 years, and they share two adult children. Dan is loyal sports fan of the Washington Commanders, UCF Knights and University of Maryland Terps.

Lorraine got involved at Track Shack in 2004 when her boys were running Cross Country at WPHS. She has been doing packet pick up for races since then! She has run 28 marathons and countless other running events, all trained for in Track Shack's Marathon Fest program. She has been a group leader for the program since 2007 and since been promoted to Coach for our Zero to Fit group. Her love for running is shared by most of her family and her favorite thing is the friendships that have formed over the years of being involved at Track Shack!
